Questions

Night care & sitters — quick answers

Sleep-in care means a trained carer stays overnight and can be woken when needed. Waking night care means the carer remains awake through the night to provide active, immediate support—for example frequent turns, toileting, or close monitoring.

We understand nights can feel especially uncertain after a change in health. Tell us what you need and your preferred pattern of support, and we will work with you to agree a safe plan as promptly as possible.

Night sitting can focus on companionship and calm reassurance—being present, checking comfort, and responding appropriately—while still respecting privacy, dignity, and agreed boundaries.
